We offer the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life® Preschool 1-5 (ages 3-5 years) and Swimmer 1-6 (ages 5-14 years) levels. Send us an email or give us a call if you want to register swimmers older than 14 years of age so we can discuss current swimming ability and course level selections.

Kanata Splash Academy operates within a mineral pool which takes advantage of the anti-bacterial properties of silver and copper’s natural ability to kill algae to sanitize the water. As a result, we don’t deal with the effects of high chlorine levels or its harsh smell.

All students must wear a bathing suit and should bring a towel, goggles (if your child uses them), deck shoes, drinking water, sunscreen, and for the first lesson, the last swimming report card (if you have one) for the Kanata Splash Academy instructor to reference.

Lessons will begin and end promptly at the scheduled time. Please plan accordingly. We asked that all students arrive five minutes prior to the start of their lesson ready to go in their bathing suit. Lesson times will not be extended or made up due to tardiness.

Please make sure students arrive changed into their bathing suit with sunscreen applied at least 20-minutes prior to lesson. We do have a bathroom available for use in case of emergencies.

We currently do not offer evening or weekend lessons. However, if a make-up class is required, and it can not be accommodated on the date provided as part of the registration process, Kanata Splash Academy may offer a lesson time in the evening or on a weekend.

Please review the "detailed Preschool & Swimmer level content" links  on our "Swim Levels" page to determine the swimming level to register your child. If you want to schedule a free 15-minute swim assessment with a Kanata Splash Academy swim instructor, please request during the registration process.
